A horse arena is an enclosed area that is typically used for indoor or outdoor equestrian training and shows, sporting events, rodeo performances and entertainment purposes.

There are several factors to consider when illuminating an equestrian lighting venue.

1. Venue Dimension-

Based on the size of the equestrian lighting arena, we can determine the appropriate light poles and pole height. Poles spaced too far apart will create dimly lit spots, while poles spaced too closely will create too much glare.

Similarly, if the height of the poles is too high, the spread of light will be too great, resulting in poor lighting of the venue. If the height of the poles is too short, the arena will be too bright, negatively impacting riders and horses.

2. Luminaire selection-
