As a new type of green lighting, LED lights are energy-saving, environmentally friendly and long-lived, and are highly pursued by customers.

But all kinds of LED lights need to solve the problem of light decay because the continual light decay has already seriously affected the use of LED lights.

Generally speaking, there are two factors to affect the LED light decay.

I. Related to the LED products' quality

1) If the LED chip used is not in good quality, and the brightness decay is relatively fast.

2) If there is a defect in the production process, and the heat from the LED chips cannot be well derived from the PIN pin, resulting in excessively high LED chip temperature and increased chip attenuation.

II. Related to the condition of use.

1) The LEDs are driven by a constant current, and some of LEDs are driven by voltage to cause the LEDs to decay.

2) The drive current is greater than the rated drive conditions.

In fact, there are many reasons for the decay of LED products, and the most critical is the problem of heat dissipation.

Although many manufacturers do not pay special attention to the problem of heat dissipation in secondary products, these secondary LED products in the long-term use will have a greater degree of decay than those focus on the heat dissipation.

In addition, the thermal resistance of the LED chip , the influence of the sliver glue, the heat dissipation effect of the substrate and the colloid and the gold wire are also related to the light decay.
